Privacy Policy
We ask for little, we keep it for as long as it is useful, and we do not pass it on to anyone who is not doing work for us.
Last updated: September 2026
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to Digilink Limited and to this website. It is written to meet our obligations under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the information privacy principles set out in it.
The retail businesses and brands we support run their own customer relationships and keep their own privacy policies. Information you give a store is held by that business, not by us.
What we collect
From the contact form: your name, your company if you give one, your email address, the subject you select and the message you write.
From ordinary web traffic: pages visited, approximate region, browser type and the time of the visit. This is aggregate statistics. It is not used to identify anyone.
We do not collect payment details on this site, and we do not ask for identity documents, dates of birth or any sensitive personal information here.
Why we hold it
To answer you. To continue a conversation about a supply, brand, distribution or employment enquiry. To keep a record of who we have spoken with and about what.
We do not send marketing email from this site and we do not add enquiries to a mailing list.
Who else sees it
Our own staff, limited to those who need it to answer you. Our email and website hosting providers, who process the data on our instruction and are bound to keep it confidential. Some of them operate servers outside New Zealand.
We do not sell personal information. We do not trade or rent it. We disclose it outside the company only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as the matter is live, and for up to two years afterwards so that we can pick up a conversation where it stopped. Records we must keep for tax or company law reasons are held for the period the law sets.
Cookies
This site uses a small amount of browser storage to remember the language you selected. It carries no advertising identifiers.
Your information is yours
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@digilink.co.nz and we will respond within twenty working days, which is the period the Privacy Act allows.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may take the matter to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is posted on this page with a new date. We do not apply a change retrospectively to information already collected.
